Airport Transport The international airport Prague Ruzyne is 55 km away from the Sports Centre Racice. Individual transportation from the air port can be arranged upon rerquest. The transportation fee from the airport and back is EUR 20,- per person. There are stands of all renowned car rental agencies with 24 hours service. We will arrange an English speaking person to organize a shuttle service and to arrange for interpreters upon request.
Car Transport The Sports Centre Racice is near the motorway D 8 (Prague - Teplice - Dresden). All access roads will be marked with a logo of the World Championships (see appendix 2) Shuttle buses between hotels and the venue will go according to a time table. Parking places for spectators are located behind the grandstand.
By train to Racice?
International express trains terminate at Praha - Main train station (Hlavní nádraží) or at Praha - Holešovice station.
Take the subway to the train station Praha - Masarykovo nádráží where trains in the direction of Kralupy nad Vltavou, Roudnice nad Labem and Dečín departure.
Get off the train at the station HNĚVNICE.
From here it is approx. 1000 m walk to the Sportcentrum Račice: from the station go the main road, turn left and follow the road (400 m) until you come to a railway overpass (do not cross the river!). Behind the bridge turn right and proceed to the village Račice.
In the middle of the village turn left at the junction and you will be on the entrance road to the Sportcenter. The first gate is for the competitors (200 m), the entry for spectators is some 300 m further on.
